Nazih, the owner of the hostel, was a fantastic host. He showed us around town and welcomed us to his hostel in the heart of Tripoli. All the most interesting sites are in walking distance. If you're going to Tripoli, the city guest house is the place to stay.

Wow, my stay at City Hostel was nothing short of perfect. Nazih is one of the kindest people I’ve met, not only in Lebanon but in the world of hospitality. He was so generous and welcomed me into Tripoli with so much information about the city. The hostel is comfortable, secure and in an ideal location. Don’t hesitate to stay!

The security is excellent, with a password required at every entrance. The hospitality is outstanding—I felt very welcomed. The room was as expected: clean, neat, and comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep for a fresh start the next day. The best part is the location and the owner's great communication. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for accommodation in the heart of the city who wants to experience the humble and authentic local life.

Great place with an amazing supportive owner who is always eger to connect travelers amongst each other and shares information. He is also willing and open to answer all of your questions on life in Tripoli including historical facts. Free water and towels comes on top. He also created a map with must see places in Tripoli (and overall Lebanon) as well as restaurants.
